M30 KDS Policy

Goals:

Our KDS policy aims to increase kitchen efficiency, reduce food waste, and improve the accuracy of order preparation. We also want to ensure that the KDS is used in compliance with data privacy regulations and that it does not compromise the security of our Square POS system.

Scope:

The KDS will be used in all kitchen stations for all menu items. The KDS will be connected to the local network to connect with Square POS and a thermal printer for printing order tickets.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Access to the KDS will be limited to authorized kitchen staff members. Each staff member will be assigned specific responsibilities for order entry, order preparation, or order fulfillment.

Technical Requirements:

The KDS will require hardware and software that meets the minimum specifications. It will be connected to the local network to integrate with Square POS and a thermal printer for printing order tickets. Regular updates and backups will be performed to ensure system reliability.

Guidelines for Order Entry:

All orders will be received via the integration connection with the Square POS. Staff members must follow specific guidelines for order modifications, order cancellation, and prioritization of orders. The KDS will display all received orders in real-time, and staff members are responsible for ensuring that all orders are acknowledged and prepared in a timely and accurate manner.

Guidelines for Order Preparation:

Staff members must follow specific guidelines for how orders are prepared in the kitchen. These guidelines will include the order in which items are prepared, how ingredients are measured, and how items are cooked.

Guidelines for Order Fulfillment:

Staff members must follow specific guidelines for how orders are fulfilled and delivered to the customer. These guidelines will include order accuracy checks, packaging and presentation of food, and delivery times.

Guidelines for Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

The KDS must be maintained regularly to ensure optimal performance. Staff members must follow specific guidelines for regular system updates and backups. Any technical issues with the KDS must be reported immediately.

Communication:

The KDS policy will be communicated to all relevant staff members through training sessions and written documentation. Any updates to the policy will be communicated in a timely manner.

Monitoring and Evaluation:

We will monitor the KDS system performance and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order processing time, order accuracy, and customer satisfaction. Any necessary adjustments to the policy will be made to ensure that the KDS is achieving our intended goals while complying with data privacy and security regulations.

  5. No Refunds: In-app purchases made for the KDS are non-refundable once the service is accessed or utilized, in line with the policies set by the App Store or Google Play.
